Alabama.- El piloto mexicano Patricio O’Ward conquistó este domingo el Gran Premio de Alabama, cuarto de la temporada de la IndyCar, por delante del español Álex Palou y el neerlandés Rinus VeeKay.

El originario de Monterrey largó desde la segunda posición de la parrilla y se mantuvo la mayor parte de la carrera (dos tercios) por detrás del pole man VeeKay, hasta que en la vuelta 62 del circuito de Barber Motorsports Park ambos entraron a pits y el mexicano supo aprovechar en la salida para ejecutar su genial adelantamiento en la curva cinco de la pista.
