Los Ángeles.- ‘One Battle After Another’, el filme de Paul Thomas Anderson, lidera las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro, con 9 candidaturas, entre ellas a mejor película, director, actor principal (Leonardo DiCaprio), actriz protagonista (Chase Infinity) y secundario por partida doble (Benicio del Toro y Sean Penn).

A la película, inspirada en la novela ‘Vineland’ de Thomas Pynchon y que sigue a un exrevolucionario (DiCaprio) que trata de encontrar a su hija, perseguida por un exmilitar estadounidense, le siguen ‘Sentimental Value’, del noruego Joachim Trier, con 8; ‘Sinners’, de Ryan Coogler, con 7; ‘Hamnet’, de Chloè Zhao, con 6, y ‘Frankenstein’, de Guillermo del Toro, con 5.

Mientras que la brasileña ‘The Secret Agent’, de Kleber Mendonça Filho, obtuvo tres -mejor película, película extranjera y actor para Wagner Moura- y la española ‘Sirat’, dos, en la categoría internacional y en la de mejor banda sonora.

‘One Battle After Another’ competirá en la categoría de musical o comedia con ‘Blue Moon’ (Richard Linklater), ‘Bugonia’ (Yorgos Lanthimos), ‘Marty Supreme’ (Josh Safdie), ‘No Other Choice’ (Park Chan-wook) y ‘Nouvelle Vague’ (también de Linklater).

Mientras que su protagonista, Leonardo Dicaprio, opta a mejor actor de comedia o musical junto a Timothée Chalamet, nominado por ‘Marty Supreme’, que se estrena el 25 de diciembre en EU; George Clooney, por ‘Jay Kelly’; Ethan Hawke, por ‘Blue Moon’; el surcoreano Lee Byung-Hun por ‘No Other Choice’, y Jesse Plemons por ‘Bugonia’.

Del mismo modo, Paul Thomas Anderson aspira al galardón a mejor director junto a Coogler, Del Toro, Jafar Panahi (‘It Was Just an Accident’), Joachim Trier (‘Sentimental Value’) y Chloé Zhao (‘Hamnet’).

Por su parte, ‘Wicked: For Good‘ se quedó sin nominación a mejor película musical, aunque su protagonista Cynthia Erivo sí fue reconocida con una candidatura a mejor actriz de comedia o musical.

Además de Erivo, están nominadas Rose Byrne (‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’); Kate Hudson (‘Song Sung Blue’); Chase Infiniti (‘One Battle After Another’); Amanda Seyfried (‘The Testament of Ann Lee’) y Emma Stone (‘Bugonia’).

En la categoría de drama optan a mejor película, además de ‘Frankenstein’ y ‘Hamnet’, ‘It was just an accident’, ‘The Secret Agent’, ‘Sentimental Value’, y ‘Sinners’.

Aspiran al Globo de Oro a mejor actriz de drama Jesse Buckley, por ‘Hamnet’; Jennifer Lawrence, por ‘Die My Love’; Renate Reinsve, por ‘Sentimental Value’; Julia Roberts, por ‘After the Hunt’; Tessa Thompson, por ‘Hedda’ y Eva Victor, por ‘Sorry, Baby’.

Por su parte, el brasileño Wagner Moura (‘The Secret Agent’) competirá con Joel Edgerton (‘Train Dreams’), Dwayne Johnson (‘The Smashing Machine’), Michael B. Jordan (‘Sinners’), y Jeremy Allen White (‘Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere’), en la categoría de mejor actor de drama.

Entre las nominadas a película de animación se encuentran ‘Arco’; ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle’; ‘Elio’; ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’; ‘Little Amélie or the Character of Rain’ y ‘Zootopia 2’.
